Supercomputer in Space

Miami Aug 14: A history will be created. SpaceX CRS-12 rocket will be launched today. The rocket will carry Spaceborne Super Computer to the International space station.

The Falcon 9 rocket liftoff is scheduled at 12:31 pm (16:31 GMT) from Kennedy Space Center located in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The super computer is manufactured by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).

Scientists say that the supercomputer would help the scientists in the following projects

* To study the extent of harsh conditions in the space

* Provide sophisticated onboard computing resources that are capable of extended periods of uptime.

* Study Parkinson's disease for finding better treatments for this degenerative disease.

* Growing vegetables in space.

Let's hope that the rocket launch is successful.
